$3,000 will support a team in the capital for a month. They can install 8 chlorinators protecting more than 50,000 Haitians.
$12,000 will provide a year's support for the National Laboratory headed by Dr. Louis. The tests conducted of local water - for cholera, typhoid and hepatitis will measure our success.
$20,000 will start a new program in a rural Department like Sud, Nippes, Southeast, or Northwest where a single city may contain most of the urban population. 95,000 people protected.
$36,000 will support a team in the Artibonite river area including Gonaives, St. Mark, Verrette and Dessalines the home of the Schweitzer Hospital. 294,262 people to be protected.
$50,000 will fund a major program to protect schools in Port-au-Prince beginning in Cite Soleil, and installing in Trousable, Bertin, Tokyo and Mount Jolie. This would provide clean water for the poorest children in the Capital.

As many as 50% of the homes in the Port-au-Prince earthquake zone are likely to be habitable, but most Haitians refuse to occupy them because they are afraid that ongoing aftershocks will cause further collapses.
